World Explorer Art Director Lucas Casagrande will shine on DigiCol

Who is Lucas Casagrande?
Travelled around the world, Lucas Casagrande is a contemporary Argentinian artist expressing a cosmopolitan and exploring creation style. Having worked as an art director for MTV, his artworks are filled with eye-catching 3D and motion elements while traverse many cultures and histories, creating dynamism in every item. Art creation is the lens through which he sees the world, and the mode through which he can engage most authentically with himself as part of an ecosystem.
He has recently stepped into the field of crypto art, expressing his globalized vision!
For a long time, the permanent home of Lucas is a four-wheel drive on a dirt track, though he has roots in Argentina. Born in 1988, his immersion in arts and world discovery began at an early age. He grew up in regional areas, spending a lot of time outside and discovering new excitements. It became a place of wonder, imagination, unknown, and solace. His fondest memories were travelling with his schoolmates and visiting galleries during holidays.
After studying university, completing pro-bono work, and earning a high-paid salary, he took to the road at the end — travelling around countries, such as Middle East and Asia, in pursuit of new artistic experiences. As a result of embedding himself in different environments, Lucas’s artworks are a manifestation of exploration. Deep ochres bleed into burnt reds and splashes of purple, while bursts of brush marks, colors and shapes animate the world with a living presence. He feels the world is a vast past of him.
Meanwhile, Lucas has worked as an art director for MTV for a decade. From creating crazy motion to subtle and tranquil moments for advertising, music videos, TV shows and social media campaigns, he loves to tune an illustrator’s style and make it move, understanding, and respecting its language while focusing on the range of emotions the frames can convey. According to Lucas, his flexible, bold and eye-catching creation style is associated with his travelling experiences where he needs to adjust himself to adapt with the new cultures and living styles.
As a world traveler, animator, and designer, Lucas loves to infuse his artworks with playful elements to tell short stories. His head is packed with memories and his artworks are the medium to express them. There is an immediate energy and vibrancy to his work that makes it stand above the crowd.
